Played at Kooindah Waters GC on Sunday 28 April in great weather and on a course which, only 7 days before, was under water but in great condition, a tribute to the staff at Kooindah for being able to recover so quickly.
The field was only small but some great scores were returned and a full result sheet may be viewed by clicking here.
In Division 1 Corey Jones and Shane Quick claimed the gross prize with a score of 10 under par 62 closely followed by Ryan Edwards and Craig Wickham with 63 on a countback from Paul Botting and Ian Fennell.
Paul and Ian's huge handicap (1.65) resulted in them taking the nett prize with a score of 61.35 followed by Eddie Kirkland and David McMurray with a nett 65.
Division 2 also produced some great scores with father and son combination of Richard and Greg Brien claiming the gross prize with a score of 66 followed by Ron Lloyd and James Seigel on 68. The nett event was close but eventually Matthew Fitzgerald and Glen Miller prevailed with a score of 64.20 over Phil Crawford and Jeremy McAnally on 64.85.
