The semi final of the "A" Pennant was played at Gosford Golf Club on Sunday 23 March with Wyong, the 2013 Champions, facing Everglades who won their Division in a close tussle with Shelly Beach during the preliminary rounds. Wyong proved too strong for the Everglades players and when their first 4 players won their matches Wyong booked a spot in this years final.
Both Wyong and Everglades had juniors in their teams and the decision taken earlier in the year to split the Pennant season to allow juniors to play in the senior grade has proven successful with many Clubs fielding juniors in their teams this year. This can only help in the development of these younger players.
The 2013 finalists, Toukley and Wyong, will now face off once again to decide the title for this year. The final will be played at Kooindah Waters on Sunday 30 March with play to commence at 12.00pm. Spectators are most welcome and are sure to see some great golf played.
