The 2015 Singles Championship was played at Shelly Beach Golf Club on Sunday 15 February and local "boy" James Swanson fired a great round of 2 under par 69 to take the title from the Shelly Beach Captain, Peter Sliwinski, whose 72 needed a countback to secure him the runners up trophy.
Shelly Beach Junior Champion 2014, Jack Milne, was right in the mix with a par round but had to give one back to nett due to his plus 1 handicap but had a comfortable win in the junior title with up and coming Beau Willett of Toukley grabbing the runner up spot again on countback.
The Masters Championship was an all Wyong affair with Russell Bunn grabbing the title from club mate Greg Watton by one shot.
The nett event was won by Shannon Steel also of Shelly Beach with Glen Ingram of Kooindah Waters holding on to the runner up position.
The 2014 Champion of Champions was played in conjunction with the Singles title and again the Shelly Beach champions proved that a little local knowledge goes a long way. Peter Sliwinski (A grade), Greg Gocher (B grade) and Jack Milne (Juniors) all captured the coveted Champion of Champions title with Michael Killoran of Kooindah Waters taking the "C" grade title and Greg Watton of Wyong the Masters title
