A small field came together at Everglades on what turned out to be a hot, humid day after the previous day saw rain all day to contest the 2024 Singles Championship and the Champion of Champions.
For the first time ever ladies were invited to play in the event and made up 15% of the field and figured in the trophy rundown serving notice to the men that they will be a force to reckon with in coming years.
To ensure equality the ladies played a golf course set at 85% of the length of the men's course but against the men's par and the course was one that most if not all of the ladies would never have played before.
