The inaugural CCDGA 2Man Ambrose was played at Wyong on Sunday 5 May and by all reports those that entered enjoyed the day and indicated they would play again.
Introduced as a replacement for the traditional Foursomes Championship, in respect of which fields had been reducing for some time, tee time was restricted to 68 places and pleasingly, following closing of entries, a reserves list had to be established. As it turned out the reserves all got a place on the day and in view of the response this year additional tee time will be sourced in 2020.
Played in 3 grades the winners on the day were "A" grade, Bryce Goldsworthy and Kerrod Ferguson (Wyong), "B" Grade, Peter Clover and Chris Mahon (Toukley) and "C" grade John Barnes and Jeff Barton (Toukley).
Congratulations to all winners and the Association extends appreciation to all of the players for again participating and supporting CCDGA.
