Incorporating the 2017 Champion of Champions, the 2018 Champion of Champions and qualifying for the Anthony Lamaro Match Play Championship, the event was played at Shelly Beach GC under clear blue skies and, thankfully, after 3 days of brutal winds a cooling breeze.
The temperature was quite mild but the scoring was hot. Lloyd Radcliffe maintained his great form of the past year and was the leader in the clubhouse (he was in the first group out) posting a 2 under par round of 69. Unfortunately for Lloyd local James Swanson showed he still has it when he returned a 3 under 68 which proved too good for the rest of the field at the end of the day.
