August and September will be busy months on the Coast with numerous opportunities for golfers to test their game in open company.
August 14 & 15 provides an opportunity for all to test their game at Kooindah Waters.
A week later the Zone 2 Regional Championship is to be played at Magenta Shores over two days, Saturday afternoon 20 August and Sunday morning 21 August. Played in shotgun format this event will give local players vying for the Vardon trophy an added opportunity to improve their average and to test their game against not only the magnificent golf course that is Magenta but also against the cream of players from the Hunter River DGA, Lower North Coast DGA and Newcastle DGA.
From this event the selectors will confirm the team to contest the NSW Country Championship with the leading 6 players from the Coast, whether a part of the CCDGA Jim Baker Shield team or not, to form the team to play in the Championship at Goulburn over the weekend of 29/30 October.
September 5 will have senior golfers lining up to play for the Wyong Senior Open and this is to be followed on 10 September by the Wyong Open Amateur.
Entry forms for all of these events (with the exception of the Country Championship) can be viewed or downloaded from the entry form tab.
