The CCWGA Charity Day at Toukley was held under sunny sky's on Monday 15 August. Eight District teams of ten players were represented, with Toukley being the winners on the day with a total of 194pts (6 best stableford scores from 10). Click here for results
The teams of ten players also included the Stableford Brooch winners from each Club which was played inconjunction in three Divisions.
The host Club Toukley put on a fantastic day with all in attendance enjoying the cake stall and sausage sizzle. The course was in good condition given the resent weather conditions and the Pro Shop, volunteers and staff were very welcoming to all, thanks Toukley. All proceeds for this went to CoastCanCare, the cake stall alone took $640.. well done Ali and her volunteer's.
Yvonne Boardman and Gayle Gear shaved the head in the name of charity, what a great effort from these girls.. Congratulations!!! The tally raised is still being counted although I'm sure the sum will be substantial.
