The decision taken a few months ago to introduce the above event in place of the Foursomes Championship which, for some years has seen ever decreasing fields, appears to have been well received.
Judging how much tee time might be required was difficult but it is pleasing that we have a full field albeit it somewhat smaller than we would like. We have in fact had to install a reserve list.
The event is being played in grades with a "club trophy" going to the club with the best aggregate score by 3 pairings. The more pairs playing from a club the more opportunity to win this prize.
Hopefully players this year will encourage more members from their Club to play in future years.
