The Salvation Army Oasis Youth Centre was nominated as the District Charity for 2015.
On Tuesday 7th February 2017 the CCWGA Committee were invited to attend the opening of Oasis Kitchen, Wyong which is part of the Salvation Army's new pop-up cafe and education centre for youth around the area.
We were invited to take part as the money we had raised through raffles during our events was donated to them and enabled them to purchase the coffee machine.
Toni McSweeny took us on a tour of the facilities and we were very impressed with all the activities that they run at the centre including wood workshops, soup kitchens, music studios and a computer lab to name just a few things that go on at this very busy place.
Thank you to all who help contribute to our raffles at each event.
