After commencing play on a wet weekend in February, the 2020 Junior Pennant was scheduled to finish on 28 March but due to further wet weather, and the impact of the dreaded Corona (not the beer how could that be dreaded) virus, the Pennant was finally decided over the weekend of 25 / 26 July.
Although it was clear that the winner would come out of the match between Everglades and Shelly Beach there was a very real possibility that the Pennant might be decided by individual match points rather than contest points such were the standings after completion of the first 4 rounds.
The match up between these 2 clubs saw 3 of the 6 matches square after 18 holes but in the end Shelly Beach proved too strong and claimed the Pennant 3.5 matches to 2.5. Congratulations Shelly Beach on a fine win and too all of the kids who played over the very extended 2020 Pennant season.
