A few short years ago a young player named Riley Millers appeared on the local scene and soon started to grab the attention of some of our more experienced players all of whom were impressed by what appeared to be natural talent.
Riley was so small that on one occasion at The Springs his bag was readily visible from the clubhouse but Riley was nowhere to be seen. Officials were concerned that something might have happened to him but after a short time the bag started to move and it became apparent that Riley had been standing behind the bag whilst his playing partner played a shot
Riley has since moved into the representative scene successfully representing CCDGA on a number of occasions and such is his talent that he is now well and truly in the sights of metropolitan clubs and particularly GNSW and it seems only a matter of time before he is called for higher duties.
Riley works extremely hard on his game and for the past few years has been an integral part of the Central Coast Academy of Sport golf squad and has just been announced as the Academy's Outstanding Athlete of the Year (golf).
Congratulations Riley on achieving such a prestigious award at such a young age. Keep up the good work.
