Visiting teams to Kooindah Waters are becoming increasingly wary of the 6th hole following the second ace by a Kooindah player during the 2015 Pennant series.
In the first round of the competition Ross Hamilton scores his first ever one at the 6th and on Sunday 1 March fellow Kooindah rep, Tim Pointing, also aced the 6th for an easy hole win in his match.
If this trend continues visiting players might well adopt an attitude of simply conceding the hole to the Kooindah lads and pass freely from the 5th green to the 7th tee rather than give their opponents the opportunity of another ace.
Congratulations Tim and may there be many more!
